Jeffrey Burnett - CEO

Jeffrey Burnett is Chief Executive Officer of Labor Finders, the oldest and largest privately held industrial staffing company in the United States. With a career spanning nearly 40 years in the staffing industry, he joined the company in 1986, at which he has held various financial, operational, and executive-management positions before becoming CEO in 1999. Jeffrey is based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, which serves as the company’s headquarters.

Outside of the company, Jeffrey serves as chairman of the audit & finance committee for the American Staffing Association (ASA), which represents the country’s staffing, recruiting, and workforce-solutions industry. He is also a current member of the ASA's Board of Directors, and has previously served as the organization’s chairman. Earlier in his career, Jeffrey was president of the Florida Staffing Association (FSA), an ASA-affiliated chapter that represents the staffing and recruiting industry within the state of Florida.

A sought-after industry thought leader, Jeffrey has been named by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) to its “Staffing 100” list of the biggest influencers in the staffing and recruiting industry, and has appeared in national media discussing employment and the economy. His company has been recognized by Forbes as #12 on its 2023 list of “America’s Best Temp Staffing Firms,” as well as by Entrepreneur Magazine as #184 in its 2023 “Franchise 500” annual listing.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoys outdoor activities and is passionate about tennis. He was formerly ranked as a top tennis player in Florida and held a position among the top five players in the United States..

Jeffrey holds a BA degree in business administration and accounting from Stetson University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Florida, as well as a Certified Staffing Professional (CSP).

My father, Newton Burnett. He led by example in family and business. As a young man, I learned the importance of treating people honestly, fairly, and with respect. In doing so, others will treat you the same way.

Favorite city is

Having traveled to various parts of the world, my favorite city is where I live, the Palm Beach area. It is paradise to me, offering year-round great weather, outdoor activities, incredible restaurants, and access to plenty of recreational water sports.

Someone who could make a difference in the world. Not knowing I would end up in the staffing business, I am grateful to help people gain meaningful employment and, in turn, contribute to our economy by helping businesses we serve.
